Arun Sharma
Chairman of the Board (Independent Director)
Mr. Arun Sharma is the President of GROVEPIKE Associates, an independent advisory firm headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, USA. GROVEPIKE Associates specializes in providing financial and strategic advisory services to government organizations, multilateral agencies, global financial institutions, and non-profit organizations.
Before establishing GROVEPIKE Associates, Mr. Sharma served as the Chief Investment Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Washington DC, a position he held from 1990 to 2019. During his extensive tenure at IFC, he pioneered climate finance in emerging markets at IFC, overseeing their inaugural investments in Green Bonds and green loans, as well as establishing India's first Green Finance NBFC through an IFC joint venture.
Mr. Sharma holds an MBA earned as a Hubert Humphrey fellow at American University in Washington DC. Additionally, he has completed executive education programs at renowned institutions including the Wharton School, Oxford University, INSEAD in France, and IMD in Lausanne.

Soumitra Sen
Independent Director
Mr. Soumitra Sen is an Independent Director on the Board of Ecofy and brings over 36 years of leadership experience across the FMCG and banking sectors. An alumnus of Columbia Business School, he has held senior leadership positions at Nestlé India, Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, ABN AMRO Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, and IndusInd Bank. He superannuated as Country Head – Consumer Banking & Marketing at IndusInd Bank in April 2026, having led retail banking, liabilities, assets, MSME, distribution, digital banking, and marketing businesses. He also served on the RBI-approved Committee of Executives that provided leadership oversight during a key governance transition at the Bank.
Rajashree Nambiar
Co-founder, Managing Director & CEO
Ms. Rajashree Nambiar is the Co-founder, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer at Ecofy. She is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of rich and diverse experience in the BFSI domain.
Before Co-founding Ecofy, Ms Nambiar was the MD & CEO at Fullerton India Credit Company Limited (Now SMFG India Credit) where she drove the overall strategy of the company and its subsidiaries - covering Risk, Operations, Technology, Analytics, and Digital initiatives. Prior to this at IIFL Finance, as the CEO and Executive Director, she successfully developed and executed a long-term business strategy focused on diversification of the retail segment into retail housing, commercial vehicles, Gold loans, and SMEs. She led the organization through a rapid digital transformation during her stint.
Prior to joining IIFL, Ms Nambiar spent 22 years with Standard Chartered Bank within the retail segment where she held various management roles. Her last position at the Bank was as Head of Retail Products for India & South Asia.
On the academic front, Ms. Nambiar holds an MBA from the prestigious Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS).

Mr. Govind Sankaranarayanan is the Co-founder, Wholetime Director & Chief Operating Officer at Ecofy. With over 30 years of experience and extensive expertise in fundraising, policy advocacy, green product development, and team building, he is a valuable asset to any organization.
Before Co-founding Ecofy, Mr. Sankaranarayanan spent 27 years at Tata and led teams in India, UK, US, and Canada across several industries. For 11 years, as Group COO & CFO, Govind was responsible for leading Tata Capital to revenues of Rs 7,000 crore and Rs 65,000 crore of AUM. In doing so he was instrumental in creating one of Tata’s largest businesses, with an AUM of $10 billion with a wide range of retail and wholesale products, establishing high-quality technology platforms and prudent risk frameworks.
Mr. Sankaranarayanan has served as a Board Director for Tata Capital Housing Finance, VSNL International, Tata Motors Drivelines, Tata Teleservices Maharashtra, Quikjet Ltd, and E-Nxt Financials. He currently advises numerous fintech companies as a Board advisor.
His academic achievements include a BE Hons in Chemical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, and a finance master's from the esteemed London Business School. Pankaj Thapar

Mr. Pankaj Thapar is a Senior Advisor at Everstone Capital Advisors Private Limited, drawing upon his 30-year expertise in corporate finance and investment banking. His experience spans domestic and international banks and corporations, making him a valuable source of knowledge in his current position.
Prior to joining Everstone, Mr. Thapar served as the Chief Business Officer at IndoSpace Capital Advisors, where he played a pivotal role in driving the organization's achievements. His professional proficiency encompasses commercial negotiations, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and corporate finance.
Mr. Thapar is an MBA Finance graduate from University of Delhi, and holds a B.Com (Hons.) degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce.
Prior to joining Everstone, Mr. Thapar served as the Chief Business Officer at IndoSpace Capital Advisors, where he played a pivotal role in driving the organization's achievements. Rohit Talwalkar

Mr. Rohit Talwalkar is the Managing Director at Everstone Capital Advisors Private Limited, with over 23 years of experience in Financial Services and a proven track record in building robust corporate and institutional relationships.
Before joining Eversource, Rohit served as the Head of Corporate & Structured Finance at IndoStar Capital Finance (an Everstone investee company) and Everstone Credit Platform. In this role, he effectively deployed over USD 1.5 billion across diverse sectors. From 2006 to 2011, Rohit held the position of Investment Manager & Chief Compliance Officer at ADM Capital, where he was a key member of the core investment team responsible for deploying USD 500 million across various special situation opportunities.
Rohit holds an MBA (PGPM) from the Indian School of Business, an LL.B. degree from Pune University, and is also a Company Secretary.

Dr. Santanu Paul
Nominee Director (BII)
Dr. Santanu Paul is an Independent Director on the Board of Ecofy. An entrepreneur and technocrat, he is the Founder of TalentSprint, one of India's foremost edtech platforms, which he led as MD & CEO from 2009 to 2024. Under his leadership, TalentSprint, featured thrice on the Deloitte Fast 50 list, received multiple national awards, and underwent two significant M&A transactions – acquisition by the National Stock Exchange Group, followed by re-acquisition by Accenture. Dr. Paul's prior experience includes senior roles at Virtusa Corporation, IBM, T. J. Watson Research Labs, and co-founding Viveca Inc. in Boston. He has served on the boards of NPCI, NSDL Payments Bank, Vivriti Capital, and BNP Sharekhan, and is a member of the SEBI Advisory Committee on FinTech. He holds a B.Tech. from IIT Madras and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, both in Computer Science.
Vuthy Chea

Ms. Vuthy Chea is a Director on the Board of Ecofy. She brings over two decades of experience in sustainable and impact finance, with deep expertise in green and gender inclusive investments across South and Southeast Asia. Ms. Chea has held senior roles at leading global asset managers, including BlueOrchard Finance Ltd. and Incofin Investment Management, where she led regional portfolios and executed complex debt financing and investment transactions aligned with both social impact and financial performance. In her current role as Project Advisor at ADA, she supports financial institutions in building robust green portfolios with a strong focus on gender and social inclusion. Her background also encompasses policy development and investment strategy from prior engagements with global organisations and the National Bank of Cambodia. Ms. Chea holds a Master's in International Development and is a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).

Nelson D'Souza

As Chief Financial Officer, Nelson leads financial strategy, fundraising, and investor relations. With over two decades of experience across large corporates and first-generation entrepreneurs, Nelson has served as CFO across multiple startups from seed and Series A to Series C stages. He has led multi-million-dollar equity and debt fundraises, including venture debt and promoter funding, while building finance functions across industries and growth phases. Nelson brings deep expertise in financial planning, cost optimization and profitability, product development and pricing, and investor relations. Nelson’s diverse experience spans food-tech, digital commerce, financial services, supply chain and logistics, consumer, media, and entertainment. A Chartered Accountant from ICAI with a B.Com. from Mumbai University, Nelson is passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, and inclusive growth.
Sangram Singh
Business Head - SME
Sangram’s career in Financial Services spans nearly two decades, with a track record of building profitable and scalable products that address the evolving needs of SME customers. Prior to joining Ecofy, he held leadership roles at U GRO Capital and Aditya Birla Finance, and has also worked with Capital First (now IDFC FIRST Bank), Magma Fincorp (now Poonawalla Fincorp), Barclays, and Citi India. Sangram holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School. He is an avid traveller and a passionate Formula 1 enthusiast, bringing the same energy and passion to his role in financial services.
Kailash Rathi
Business Head Wheels & Head Partnerships
The expertise of our Business Head Wheels & Head Partnerships, Kailash, lie in retail digital lending, product management, corporate strategy, digitization, sales, and business acquisition. Prior to joining Ecofy, Kailash headed the Domestic Lending business at Credlix (the supply chain fintech arm of Moglix) and has also held leadership positions at Fullerton India Credit Company Limited, India Infoline Private Limited, and Pidilite Industries Limited. Kailash is a Chartered Accountant rank holder, with a leadership certification from IIM Ahmedabad, and has completed the Strategic Leadership in Inclusive Finance programme at Harvard Business School.
Swapnil Wakade
Business Head - Residential Rooftop Solar
Swapnil brings over a decade of experience in the rooftop solar sector, with expertise spanning solar PV assets, operations, profitability, and business strategy. Prior to joining Ecofy, he held leadership roles at Mahindra Susten, Torrent Power, and Fourth Partner Energy, managing a 300+ MWp rooftop solar portfolio pan-India. At Ecofy, he focuses on advancing residential rooftop solar adoption and simplifying access to financing. An engineer by training and a passionate advocate for decentralized clean energy, Swapnil holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering Technologies and an MBA in Energy Management – Energy Management and Power Economics, bringing a strong understanding of both technology and business to his role.
Shreevar Narayan
Chief Technology Officer
With over 20 years of experience in the finance and IT sectors, Shreevar has led global implementations of core banking and lending platforms across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and America. Specializing in building digital-first, mobile-centric financial systems with scalable cloud architectures, Shreevar has set up complete technology functions from scratch at early-stage startups, including teams, systems, and processes. His expertise spans software development, infrastructure, cloud operations, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance. He has implemented secure, high-availability systems aligned with Zero Trust and RBI guidelines. Shreevar has a strong track record of driving fast-paced, product-led growth through modern DevSecOps practices. He actively integrates AI and automation into financial platforms for underwriting, fraud prevention, and analytics. He holds a B.Tech. from IIT Dhanbad and frequently contributes to thought leadership in digital transformation.
Nitesh Minocha

With over 24 years of diverse experience across finance, manufacturing, and customer service, Nitesh brings extensive expertise in the automotive and financial sectors. Prior to joining Ecofy, Nitesh spearheaded Operations at Tata Capital, gaining valuable experience across retail, commercial, and housing finance. For over two decades, Nitesh has been at the helm of operations management, demonstrating his ability to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and drive organizational success. He has a comprehensive understanding of both the financial and operational aspects of business. A Cost Accountant with an Executive MBA from IIM Calcutta, he combines strong financial knowledge with practical industry experience.
Vivek Khandelwal
Head Treasury
Vivek brings over two decades of experience in financial services, with expertise in treasury management, fundraising, financial strategy, and risk management. Prior to joining Ecofy, he held key treasury positions at reputed NBFCs like SBI Factors, Kotak Mahindra Investments, Edelweiss, and Anand Rathi Group. He has also played a key role in setting up treasury functions at IndoStar and Capital India Finance Group during their early stages. Vivek holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) from NMIMS Mumbai, providing him with a solid foundation in business and finance. He also holds senior management certification and is an alumnus of IIM Nagpur.
Amishi Patel
Head HR
With over two decades of experience in financial services, Amishi’s expertise lie across human resources, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and benefits. At Ecofy, she heads the HR function, focusing on building a high-performance culture, nurturing talent, and fostering a collaborative workplace, positioning Ecofy as a preferred workplace for top talent. Prior to joining Ecofy, Amishi held leadership roles at YES Bank, including President and Zonal Head, and began her career in retail banking at ABN AMRO Bank. Amishi holds a degree in commerce. Outside of work, she remains deeply committed to people-centric initiatives and is a strong advocate for the right to education for children.
Shraboni Fernandes
Head Marketing
Shraboni brings over a decade of experience across PR & Corporate Communications, Digital Marketing, Brand Management, and CSR, having consistently driven growth, visibility, and stakeholder engagement. At Ecofy, Shraboni heads the marketing function, focusing on strengthening the brand and building awareness around green finance. Prior to Ecofy, she worked with DHFL, Fullerton India Credit Company Limited (now SMFG India Credit), and InCred Financial Services, gaining expertise in brand building, media relations, and corporate reputation management. Shraboni holds a Master’s in Business Management and a Bachelor’s in Commerce from Mumbai University.
Santosh Shidhaye
Head ESG
Santosh brings over 30 years of expertise in environmental and social due diligence, E&S safeguards audits, CSR implementation, and supervision of EC/EIA/MoEF interactions. At Ecofy, Santosh drives the convergence of sustainability, strategy, change management, and renewable energy. Prior to joining Ecofy, Santosh held leadership roles at IL&FS, Shidhaye Environmental and Safety Advisors LLP, and Navi Mumbai International Airport, managing large-scale infrastructure projects. He has led advisory initiatives in circular economy, waste-to-energy projects, low carbon transition, carbon neutrality, and net-zero planning. An IIT Kanpur alumnus, Santosh holds an M.Tech in Environmental Engineering, NEBOSH certification, and is a British Chevening Scholar. He volunteers with an NGO supporting tribal youth.
